“Youthful beginnings, lasting bonds.”
May 12th was a special day for the new students of Antai IMBA Class 2491. Everybody gathered excitedly for their first meeting, the room buzzing with anticipation. Faces lit up with eager smiles as everyone looked forward to this fresh journey, filled with the promise of new friendships and shared ambitions. Introductions flowed asmates eagerly exchanged stories of their diverse backgrounds and aspirations. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a sense of unity already forming among them. Each person brought their unique talent to the group, turning the first meeting into a vibrant start of what promised to be an unforgettable adventure together.

May - June
Warmth brings us together
We enthusiastically engaged in our quality development "Outward Bound" activities, embracing team cooperation, self-challenging, and problem-solving projects. Through activities like "Concentric Drum" and “Cross the river by feeling stones”, everyone learned more about each other, pushed themselves to new heights, and honed their problem-solving skills. The experience fostered strong team cohesion, improved communication, and boosted individual confidence, making it an unforgettable and enriching journey of personal and collective growth.

Our 2491 had a lively fellowship gathering with the 2391, sharing dinner and meaningful conversations. We exchanged insights about the upcoming journey at SJTU Antai, with the 2391 students offering valuable advice on navigating new courses and university life. It was a warm, informative evening that set the stage for new beginnings.

June - July
Unity on the Field
The Antai MBA new students sports competition kicked off on June 1st, featuring basketball, soccer, table tennis, and badminton. Eager to compete for the top spot, students participated with great enthusiasm and energy, creating an atmosphere of friendly rivalry and deep sportsmanship among all MBA teams. Talents from differentes shone brightly, each contributing their unique skills to the spirited competition. Notably, our boys at the 2491 Basketball Team captured attention with their standout performance; their handsome looks and exceptional ball skills made them crowd favorites. The event was a wonderful blend of athleticism, teamwork, and the vibrant spirit of Antai MBA.

Embrace for victory
As the 2491 Class song sings:
"The seeds of dreams on the grass have already taken root, sprouted, and bloomed."
Passion is the anticipation of the path seen from the top of a high building.
It is dedicating ourselves to the process without worrying about the result.
It is the relentless pursuit despite sacrifices.
It is the compass that guides us through the choices and dilemmas of life.
In the thrilling Antai New Students Sports Competition Basketball Finals, our team started with a tough 0-11 run and was down by 10 at halftime. Feeling extremely fatigued from the previous match, they showed incredible determination and never gave up. In the second half, they made an incredible comeback by locking down the opponent to 0 points! Showcasing relentless defense and persistence under the thundering cheers from our cheer leading team. Our team effort paid off as we won the finals match by 10 points, securing the gold medal by overcoming extreme odds, and in a what seems to be the match of the century.
Our soccer team also battled fiercely, showing incredible determination and teamwork throughout the competition. They played through the rain like true warriors, never backing down despite the tough conditions. Their relentless effort and unity on the field led us to a well-deserved second place, showcasing the spirit and resilience of our team.
We came, we competed, and we won.

August - September
Gather for passion, strive for heart
On August 17th, the 2491 and 2492es came together for a memorable union party at Shanghai Global Harbor. Hosted in a private club on the top floor of the main building, the event featured a delicious buffet, offering a range of foods. As attendees mingled over wine and culinary delights, they enjoyed breathtaking views of the Shanghai metropolis. The evening was filled with lively conversations and new connections, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere. The stunning scenery and exquisite dining experience made it an unforgettable occasion, fostering friendships and bonding between the two full timees.

Our motto, “Together we strive, unstoppable we thrive,” embodies the unity and strength of our. It reflects our belief that, united, we can achieve great things. Our diverse is made up of individuals from various backgrounds and nationalities, each bringing unique perspectives and strengths. This diversity is our greatest asset, as we learn not only from some of the best professors in our great nation but also from each other. Through collaboration and mutual support, we push each other to excel, turning our differences into powerful tools for growth, and proving that, together, we are truly unstoppable.
