According to a report from the National Immigration Administration on November 17, authorities in Guangzhou have successfully intercepted five foreign nationals attempting to enter China using forged or altered documents.

On November 15, immigration officers at the Baiyun Border Inspection Station, under the Guangzhou Border Inspection General Station, were conducting routine checks when they identified and detained the five individuals. These individuals had presented counterfeit or tampered documents in a bid to illegally enter the country.

The suspects, whose nationalities have not been disclosed, were immediately stopped by the border officers and, in accordance with China's Exit and Entry Administration Law, were denied entry to the country.
