(1) How to apply: you need to apply to the Exit and Entry Bureau of the Public Security Bureau; Under the age of 16, the father (mother) must apply to the Exit and Entry Administration Bureau of the Public Security Bureau, and submit the birth certificate (or legal documents to prove the relationship) and the identity document of the guardian and a copy; If the parents are divorced, the legal guardian of the child must be present to apply, submitting the birth certificate (or legal document proving the relationship), the child custody agreement (or legal document proving the child custody) and the guardian's ID card and a copy.
