For many foreigners, their academic degrees may have been obtained outside China. So, they need to be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is the official proof of the validity of their academic qualifications!  So how can we authenticate an academic degree?

01 For foreign diplomaIf you're outside China, start by getting your credentials authenticated by your country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then bring them to the Chinese embassy or consulate in your country for further authentication.

02For Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan diplomaFor qualifications obtained in Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan, you can either seek authentication from mainland China's academic credential agencies or get them notarized by the notary institutions in Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan.
