近日，中国驻巴哈马大使馆在微信公众号上发布关于申请办理中华人民共和国签证须知，全文如下：
I. Application process
一、申办流程
(1) Fill out the form online. Please log in https://cova.mfa.gov.cn Fill out the visa application form online. After completing it, please print out the visa application form and confirmation page and sign (please be sure to fill out the form according to Attachment 1 "COVA Visa Online Filling Precautions").
(1)在线填表。请登录https://cova.mfa.gov.cn在线填写签证申请表，填写完毕后，请打印出签证申请表和确认页并签字（请务必按照附件一《COVA签证在线填表注意事项》填写表格）。

Application method: Applicants should contact the embassy's dedicated email for visa consultation nassau@csm.mfa.gov.cn Send an email.
申请方式：申请人请向使馆签证咨询专用邮箱nassau@csm.mfa.gov.cn发送邮件。
Format of email title: "Applicant's name + passport number + type of visa to be applied for".
邮件题目格式：“申请人姓名+护照号码+拟申请签证种类”。
Email content: Please explain the reason and time of your intended visit to China in the main text, and upload the required documents for visa application in PDF or JPG format in the attachment (see point 2 "Acceptance scope and application materials").
邮件内容：请在正文中说明拟赴华事由和拟赴华时间，并在附件中以PDF或JPG格式上传申请签证所需材料（详见第二点“受理范围及申请材料”）。
(3) Embassy conducts preliminary review

For those that meet the acceptance scope and have complete materials, the embassy will inform the applicant of the specific arrival time through email; For those who meet the acceptance scope but have incomplete materials, the applicant will be notified by email of the specific time for processing at the embassy after completing the required supplements.
对符合受理范围且材料完整的，使馆将通过电子邮件告知申请人具体到馆办理时间；对符合受理范围但材料不完整的，申请人按要求补充完整后，使馆将通过电子邮件告知申请人到馆办理具体时间。
(4) Submit application and materials to the consulate

Please submit the application materials and collect ten fingerprints at the embassy according to the email notification time.
请申请人本人按使馆电子邮件通知时间到使馆递交申请材料并采集十指指纹。
*The following visa applicants are exempt from fingerprint collection, and those who are exempt from fingerprint collection can entrust others to submit visa applications.
*以下签证申请人可免除指纹采集，且免采指纹人员可委托他人递交签证申请。
1. Individuals under the age of 14 or over the age of 70;

2. Personnel holding diplomatic passports or meeting the requirements for issuing diplomatic, official, and courtesy visas;

3. Individuals who hold the same passport to apply for a visa at the Chinese Embassy in the Bahamas within five years and have retained their fingerprints;

II. Acceptance scope and application materials

(1) My original passport (passport must have a remaining validity period of at least 6 months and must have at least 2 blank visa pages) and a copy of the information page

Attachment 1: Precautions for filling out COVA visa online forms
附件一：COVA签证在线填表注意事项
(1) Please carefully read the system prompts and complete the content of the COVA online visa application form item by item, ensuring that the information is true, accurate, and complete. Please note that once the application form is submitted, it cannot be modified in any way. If any changes are needed, a new form must be filled out.
(1)请认真阅读系统提示要求，逐项认真完成签证申请COVA在线填表的内容，务必确保信息真实、准确、完整。请注意：申请表一经提交，表格无法进行任何修改，如需更改须重新填写。
(2) Please choose the Chinese Embassy in the Bahamas to submit your visa application.

(3) Basic personal information. Your surname, first name, gender, date of birth, nationality, passport number, etc. must be completely consistent with the information on the passport information page, otherwise your visa application will be returned.
(3)个人基本信息。姓、名、性别、出生日期、国籍、护照号码等必须与护照信息页内容完全一致，否则您的签证申请将被退回。

1. Application Form 1.1E: Local language names must be entered using the Chinese input method. Please do not fill in "Chinese", "Chinese", etc.

2. Select 'Yes' for' Have you ever held another nationality or resident status' on Application Form 1.6G, and then select 'Have you ever held nationality information'.

3. Item 1.6H of the application form is mandatory. If the applicant is applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, this information will be automatically generated during the filling process; But if the applicant has previously applied for a Chinese visa, this item will not be displayed when filling out the form online. After printing out the form, the applicant must manually add Chinese name and other information. This item cannot be empty.
3.申请表1.6H项为必填项。如申请人系首次申请中国签证，该项内容会在填表过程中自动生成；但如申请人此前申请过中国签证，则在线填表时该项不会显示，须打印出表格后，手写补充中文姓名等信息。该项不可为空。

2. The positions and responsibilities in application forms 3.3D and 3.3E must be filled out completely.

Application Form 5.5A Spouse Address, 5.5B, 5.5C Parent Address Both require the current address of the spouse and parents, not the address of the place of birth. The address must be completed, including street, city, province, and country.
申请表5.5A 配偶地址，5.5B、5.5C父母地址均需填写配偶、父母目前所在地地址，并非出生地地址。地址须完整填写，包括街道、城市、省份、国家。
(7) If 'not applicable' is selected for each item in the table, the reason for not being applicable should be clearly stated.
(7)表格每项如选 “不适用”， 需写明不适用的原因。
(8) Print the form and sign. After completing the COVA online application form, a complete set of application forms must be printed, including the "China Visa Online Application Confirmation Page" and the "People's Republic of China Visa Application Form" (a total of 9 to 10 pages of forms will be generated depending on the individual's filling situation). The complete set of forms must be printed page by page, and the signature and date on the confirmation page and pages 8-9 must be handwritten by oneself. Visa applicants under the age of 18 are signed by their guardians and a handwritten signature is added at the "Signature of the filling agent" section.
(8)打印表格和签名。COVA在线填表完成后，必须打印出全套申请表格，包括《中国签证在线填表确认页》和《中华人民共和国签证申请表》（依个人填写情况，会生成共9至10页表格）。全套表格须逐页打印完整，确认页和第8-9页签名和日期必须为本人手写。18岁以下签证申请人由监护人代签，并同时在“代填人签名”处添加手写签名。
Attachment 2: M. F, L Visa Invitation Letter Content
附件二：M、F、L字签证邀请函内容
