According to Article 33 of the Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, the registration items of foreigners' residence permit include: the holder's name, gender, date of birth, reason of residence, term of residence, date of issuance, place, number of passport or other international travel documents, etc. When the above registration items are changed, foreigners need to change the change of residence permit in advance.根据《中华人民共和国出境入境管理法》第三十三条规定，外国人居留证件的登记项目包括：持有人姓名、性别、出生日期、居留事由、居留期限、签发日期、地点，护照或者其他国际旅行证件号码等。当上述登记项目发生变更时，外国人都需要提早做居留许可变更手续。

What specific circumstances need to be changed?具体哪些情况需要变更？

1. If the residence permit holder changes, he / she shall apply for a new residence permit to the residence permit issuing authority within 10 days.

1. 居留许可持有人的居留原因、护照号码等发生变化的，应当在10日内向居留许可签发机关申请新的居留许可。

2. If the holder of the residence permit's address, university, office holding or employment unit is changed, he shall apply to the residence permit issuing authority for the change within 10 days.

2. 居留许可持有人的地址、就读院校、任职或者就业单位发生变更的，应当在10日内向居留许可签发机关申请变更。

3. Those who move from one city to another may apply for change to the exit-entry administration agency of the public security organ of the place of migration or the place where they are moved.

3. 从一个城市迁往另一个城市的，可以向迁出地或者迁入地公安机关出入境管理机构申请变更。

现在我们都知道变更居留许可非常重要，但很多人可能对于具体应该如何申请居留许可的变更还是一头雾水，下面SFBC就来介绍一下居留许可变更需要准备哪些申请材料：

1. Submit the original valid passport and residence permit for examination (those who have applied for the new passport must also submit the original old passport);

1. 交验本人有效护照及居留证件原件（已申领到新护照的还须提交旧护照原件）；

2. Submit the complete Application Form for Foreign Visa Certificate and a recent 2-inch bareheaded photo;

2. 提交填写完整的《外国人签证证件申请表》，交1张近期2寸半身正面免冠照片；

(1) If the residential address is changed, the temporary accommodation registration form for overseas personnel shall be updated first;

(1) 变更居住地址的，须先更新境外人员临时住宿登记单；
