1.like+名词、代词(人、物、事等)

She's nice. I like her.

这是一种特殊的句型,it作为形式宾语,真正的宾语是when(if)从句:

I like it when you do that.

我喜欢你那样做。

i like it when people are open and direct.

我喜欢人们坦诚相待。

I don’t like it when you shout at me.

我不喜欢你朝我大吼大叫。

And I don’t like it when shop assistants follow me around.

2.like to do 和like doing

like to do偏重于表达特定或具体的未来事件

like doing偏重于表达正在进行的动作或经常性动作;

但是在实际的语言运用中并没有泾渭分明的界限,许多时候它们是通用的。

在肯定句大多表示:喜欢,爱、习惯、愿意做某事;在否定句大多表示:愿意

I like reading, but I don’t like to read this evening.

我喜欢看书,但是今晚我不想看。

I like running, but I like to swim with you today.

我平时喜欢跑步,但是今天我喜欢和你一起游泳。

I like to see them enjoying themselves.

我就愿意看着他们玩得高兴。

At weekends I like to sleep late.

4.like sth done/adj.

I like my coffee strong.
